Introduction
Hotel Aegina offers traditional and pleasant accommodation in a convenient location on Aegina.
Location
A 10-minute walk from the harbour area, Hotel Aegina is on the outskirts of Aegina Town, north of the main shopping and dining areas.
Rooms
Rooms at Hotel Aegina are traditionally furnished in a basic but comfortable style.
Service
Check-in was fast and efficient, and breakfast was served daily in the main entrance/reception area. Rooms were cleaned regularly and maintained to a good standard
Facilities
Rooms feature air conditioning, shower and toilet facilities and most other amenities typical of a good hotel.
Food and Dining
We found breakfast to be of good quality, albeit with a limited selection.
Price
We paid €64 per night in late August, which was slightly above what we had paid on other islands. Its proximity to Athens and Mainland Greece does make it a more expensive destination which is also reflected in the price of local food and drink.
Overall Experience
We had a good three-night stay at Hotel Aegina, finding it to be a nice, quiet hotel with easy access to the harbour area, shops and restaurants.
