Mykonos Island Guide

Mykonos Island Overview

Mykonos hardly needs an introduction. For most people, when they picture a Greek island it’s usually either Mykonos with its narrow Cycladic streets that wind through the main town or Santorini with its stunning clifftop caldera views.

As one of the most popular Greek islands, Mykonos is prone to being very busy throughout the tourist season. Drawn to it by the prospect of sandy shores, boutique shops and vibrant beach clubs, Mykonos attracts revellers from around the globe. Because of this, it also tends to be one of the most expensive places to visit, so the advice is to book early and consider visiting outside of the peak July-August months if you want to maximize your budget.
